Vnish isn't a magic pill. I'll only share a small portion of the information. Vnish works fine on ASICs with factory firmware until February 2024. After that, you'll need to unlock the controller or buy a different one. Such operations usually end with the ASIC easily bricked. Therefore, it's best to consult with technical support first; the project has excellent support. Both of you actully provide a good better option but the problem is the topic is between the Avalon Q and FluMiner t3. That is why I suggested the Avalon Q if he had almost free electricity. About Vnish, they are good firmware but limited to supported units. Newer ones do not support it unless if you are able to unlock and disable the signature check to perform a successful firmware flashing, but if not, then the only option is to replace the control board with older firmware to be able to flash it with Vnish, or the easiest method is the control board suggested by philipma1957 and the good thing is the UI is better than Vnish. well avalon has had a lot of gear break early on me. with mediocre support. and fluminer has had quite a few complaints made against there support. if i had to buy one or the other i would buy the avalon since altaitech.io sells them on their website which is usa based.
