If the team can still freeze, censor, upgrade, or rug the rules whenever things get spicy, then it is not "decentralizing later", it is just renting decentralization as a costume. The market would probably be healthier if teams were forced to label themselves plainly: immutable, governed, admin-controlled, permissioned, custodial, whatever. Then users can decide what poison tastes nicest. The real maturity test is not whether 7ball adds more rules. It is whether the rules are enforced by code that even the founders cannot casually override. Otherwise we are just rebuilding TradFi with worse customer support and better buzzwords.
