Honestly, if you want a "stable" stable job, do government. Once you get a permanent position afaik it's pretty difficult being fired from it. Granted the salary isn't that attractive but hey, it's a tradeoff between competition and money. But getting a government job is not easy and as far as I know, in 3rd world countries, to get a job in government. Besides money, we need close relationships, people with only high education but no money or relationships have very little chance of working in government. Not to mention, layoffs or job transfers are also inevitable if the government's personnel apparatus changes. Once someone else takes over, they will also find a way to bring in their relatives and try to eliminate us. Competition and elimination are always present in any working environment. In third world countries, getting a government job is very hard, unless you have some like we call a backer. A person that is in the higher position and that he could vouch for you and back it up. And that's why corruption is very prevalent in third world countries because of this so called nepotism. But if you lose your job, obviously you will have to get one. You can't just and take a rest in the next couple of months. Specially if you don't save money, the very first instinct is to get one. It's also for your sanity, I mean it doesn't look good that after losing a job, you will just simply sit in your house and then let your parents handle everything for you.
