That should be expected. Their track record with being transparent isn't really good, afaik. So it will take more than just "trust me bro" to get some trust from the community. Even then, I don't think we should stop questioning their decisions in the future just because of this (and other open sources they released). It's the usual don't trust, verify. Even if they don't do all of this, but some terrible rumours about them suddenly show up on social media, I'd expect people to verify them instead of blindly believing them. CMIIW.
