The capitalist system that they have also states "yes drug companies charge so much that some people may die because they can't afford medical bills, but that also means drug companies can use that as research money to get new and better drugs". So they are fine with people dying because of lack of money, as long as it means progress for their capitalist lords. If a nation thinks that new drugs are better than human life, because they think it saves human life, they are quite obvious who they prefer to win.
