People are raised differently, they have their own moral standard and they have their own character.  People, even with all the wealth in hand still do bad thing.  It does not need to have war or a crisis for them to do disgusting things.  We can just look at the government officials.  These people are well fed, have good standard of living but still get into corruption. During a crisis, people change, yes, but not all turn to being bad.  Others, even if they have the strong will to survive, will always choose to act morally, but once a moral standard has been established, it will not change, no matter what happens. That is the fact when it comes to life the background upon which a person grow up matters , there are people who grow up in an environment were there is nothing like morality so these sets of people are not guided by any moral right, they can do anything. To this sets of people it's not about the money they can steal even when they have billions in their account.
