Do you know how long it will take a to create a based load power supplier that would be enough for a country, even the size of Georgia? If  Russia thought it would be nice to punish them during a drought and you're left with no imports and maybe 25% of the total 3000MW that's the backbone of their grid, how are you going to come up with 2-3 MW? They don't even have the capacity in lines to import that from anywhere else even if Azerbaijan or Turkey would have the space capacity. Again, you didn't answer my question. If they pay, thus giving a percentage to a rival, do you believe that the electricity suppliers won't make the proper adjustments (including whatever that means) to sell and fill the gap? The answer is yes, of course they will. With what since there is no power station there that could take it? What proper adjustment other than building a new powerplant from scratch and good luck putting 2MW of power online in a few years let alone days. Buy from someone else, good, you can offer $200000000 per kwh , you still won't be abe to buy 500Mwh a day over a powerline that can only transfer 50! Lol, let's forget technical issues, it will all be solved because there is profit to be made! What happened during the last oil crisis, did someone magically draw 100 wells overnight and erase all the queues at the gas station? How long did it take for Europe to adjust their consumption get in LNG and how much it take in terms of $? What happened in California a decade ago? What happens every summer in Texas? The facts are: Georgia has no spare capacity, they don't have the infrastructure to import enough to compensate, they don't have the money, and obviously not the time to bring online enough power to compensate for such a reduction in imports. Ukraine would like to have something to say about this
