Even let's say you are just copy trading, the risk is still there, it's more likely you are handing your money to other people to trade it based on their decision, if the master trader you're subscribed having hardtime, losing, you lose money too. Trading is risky already, but having a structured system that is improving every time, it will help you become a profitable trader, but it will not remove the risk. Exactly, that's a fair way to put it, even if we are following someone it does not remove the risks but the risk increases because we don't know how much risk the master trader is ready to take, so we are risking more and will be controlled by them because we will be hopeless and only wait and watch our money make more or getting short. A structured system is not all about profit, and you are right, even if we are disciplined and have better knowledge of trading and understand the market better, it does not mean we won't make losses anymore haha, losses are not going to leave us alone haha. You will minimize the risk in trading if you know what you are doing - meaning you know the coin that you are trading with, not because it is the current hype but you are familiar with its background and where it is going. If you equip yourself with trading skills, you will find out that you can at least reduce your losses by being conservative with your estimates and not driven by someone else's prediction because you are also weighing your options and chances. And besides, there are so several factors that you need to consider before you trade any coin - have you done your research/background study of the alt? how about the liquidity of this in the market? current developments? tangible usage? and others that can help you assess whether the alt is worth dedicating your trading time.
