Gone are the days when we can easily spot scammers by merely using our "common sense". Now, scammers are evolving greatly, putting out unsuspecting scams and tricks for people to become victims to unknowingly. I wouldn't be surprised if experienced people too get caught up with this scam. Newbies remain the most vulnerable here because they are still new and learning, it is easier for them to believe scammers. Just as I have said earlier, everyone should normalise thinking first before acting. In addition to that, everyone (not just newbies) should guard their private keys like their life depends on it. Before you get down using logic to detect scammers, common sense will first signal to be cautious with the procedures. Another reason why beginners not just them but in general, is that most persons don't verify information's or messages they receive, if a platform is working on a project, every outbox will be sent to everyone making use of the same platform, before accepting why not verify from others. Common sense to me is the best logic that will save us from scammers tricks, when you are good at believing everything, such a person is likely to become one of the next victims. I am not disputing the fact that common sense is very important and neccessary, but we need more than just common sense. From the message in the op, it looked like the message was from the right source, although the content defeats its purpose. A newbie will fall victim easily. Now, we need common sense, logic, and proper enquiry to be able to defeat these scammers. As it stands now, these scammers are a step ahead and we can't afford to rely on only one method to defeat them.
