He told me that he tried to keep a positive relationship with all people and animals, because he was afraid of being reincarnated as a rock in his next life. I still wonder if he was serious, or if he was joking, but in the end, it doesn't matter what the belief is, as long as it directs the believers in question to a healthy relationship with humanity, it is a positive gain for all humanity.
