If I should follow the general concern, then I would say that a high leverage could be risky, and hence, a low leverage could be the better option. But, it all buttresses on the trading capability of the trader, because if care is not taken, even the low leverage is a silent killer, it eats the account bit by bit until it finishes it. And as scary as a high leverage trading is, some smart traders still claim it works for them, and that they can never trade with a low leverage again. This could mean that it's all about your trading prowess, plan, discipline and management. If one is using a high leverage, there are some things you don't do. You don't trade all the time and anyhow. You only strike the surest markets, and your stop loss must be aggressively tight.
