Why didn't having kids make them better people, and why are the kids suffering a life they didn't ask for? A very flawed way of looking at life. Kids are not toys; they're not houses that we give as gifts. They are human beings who will be brought into a cruel world, and they will have no choice but to live through it. They will have to come into this world and face the challenges of the world for the rest of their lives, so the least the parents can do is to make sure they make things better. Shower the kid with so much love, make sure he has everything he needs to make life easy for him, and make sure the child is very well equipped in all aspects of life to handle this life on his own. If you can't do that, then don't have a kid, no matter what your God says.
