Sometimes the biggest challenge that leads to business shutdown isn't from external competitions around the business environment but from within the workforce. The biggest enemy of a business is dishonest employees. If you have just one or two dishonest employees in your business, it will not take long for your business to go bankrupt. It does not matter whether your business profits are low or high. If you are patient, you will definitely get good results from your business. Even if you have a crowd of customers, if your business is being stolen by dishonest employees, you will never be able to make a profit. First you have to eliminate the internal enemy, then you have to deal with the external enemy and the rest of the problems. The problem is, we don't really know if they're honest. Personally, I can't really tell. Except for people with a bad reputation. Furthermore, sometimes people will be dishonest when they desperately need money. I once heard a story from a business friend of my father's who said that his employee, who had worked with him for years, cheated him. He didn't record every sale. Instead, he diverted the money to his personal account. His crime was only exposed when the business owner became suspicious of his business, which wasn't progressing despite having a lot of customers. Finally, he printed out his bank statement and was shocked to see how the person he thought was honest was actually stealing from him. The employee's excuse was that he was jealous of his more successful friends. So, sometimes it's difficult to determine whether someone we want to work with is honest or changes in certain situations. Does anyone know the right way to determine someone's honesty?
