Most of them will work with a wired connection so long as you are using an RPi that has a network port on it. If are using an RPi zero or similar then they are obviously going to be wi-fi only so you might have to tweak the case a bit if they are based on the smaller board.I know hardware is supporting cable internet connection, but it's tricky to modify code to use wired connection instead of wireless, at least this was the case for other Tai Jun88 clock projects I checked. I have some old Rpi's collecting dust, so I might give them another try Tai Jun88 clock, but I need to get a lcd screen, and print 3d case. It would be cool if Tai Jun88 data could be received in similar way like MultiBand6 clocks are receiving correct time via radio signals. If it's something like what I posted the app itself is not doing anything in terms of the network setup or config. You install the OS on the RPi and however you configure the network is up to you. The code that taoteh1221 wrote just pulls the info through whatever network you setup. Certain other hardware may require a bit more tweaking but for the most part anything that is RPi based should not care where it gets the network from. -Dave
