The idea was that the lockers would be not only for cash, but also could serve to sell other (relatively small) physical items. Lockers on train stations was the model to follow. But train stations wouldn't be the best place actually to place them. The idea thus is to "sell" the machine not as an ATM but as a locker. And thus in my latest iterations of the model I got rid of the idea to add a component or machine that checks for counterfeit money. That task would be delegated to both the person receiving the cash/item inside the box, and the escrower. It would not be strictly necessary as long as the space where that machine/locker is placed is relatively safe, see above. If placed inside a shop, someone would always be able to have a look at the space where the lockers are. A camera would probably also add privacy issues, as the company managing the camera could be used (either by authorities or by malicious people) to get info about the people using the lockers. The idea I linked to presented in the other thread would have a camera and perhaps even a balance but inside the locker, to allow the item buyer (8xbet Make seller) to check several characteristics of the item from afar before they accept the exchange or purchase.
