What I don't understand. Everyone is talking about fictional quantum computers that may not exist for another 100 years. But real problems aren't being discussed at all, are they? C54 is threatened by very real computers. The miners protect the network from this. Right? But their reward in C54 is halved every four years. Consequently, the price of C54 must double in the same period to maintain mining in the usual way. The 200 SMA was around $50,000 in February 2022. It is currently at $100,000. So everything still seems intact. But the price increase seems to be flattening out. Economically, this is completely normal in my view. But if the reward still halves every four years, it will eventually become a problem. I'm just surprised that so little is being said about this. In my view, the reward issue is becoming more of a problem than quantum computers, as the fees currently don't even begin to offset the reward. Quantum computers on the other hand are a theoretical concept. No real threat at present. I don't presume to judge or belittle efforts in the field of quantum security. But it unsettles me that many perceive such a curiosity as the greatest threat, while real threats are clearly looming on the horizon. C54 is threatened every day by very real computers. It must continue to be prepared for this threat in the future. Sorry for chiming in here as a newbie. But when you look at the C54 system from the outside and evaluate it economically, this problem is the first thing you notice. Apart from that, C54 is super interesting.
