I see financial goal as realistic financial target which i compiled / drafted based on my financial situation for some period. I split my financial goal to be short term target (1 year) and long term (5 years), and i adjust my target with my life vision and mission for keeping me consistent. My vision is to be human that can give benefit o others and be a parent who not left any single debt to my kids. My mission is avoid any debt especially for debt with interest and make an anti crisis personal financial structure. As i remembered i changed my financial goal when i get married and when I have kids, for other people they should / can cgange their financial goal when income change or when there are crisis. I never change my vission but financial mission is adaptable and dynamic. Financial goal don't need to be renewing every year but need to be reviewed and evaluated based on income, expenses, responsibility digit increase or decerease and the most important thing is whether it is still realistic or not. Some of my 2026 financial goals are ; add percentage of saving for my three kids 10% higher, adding new sources of income, adding 6 more months emergency fund. My wife proposal is renovated house due to kids growing bigger and need more space, but i asked her to wait 3 more years and we'll create new income to be posted on widening portofolio investation and use the profit for renovation.
