I use Telegram but I don't like it much because we need to input our phone number. That is, to me, a big down factor. However, I use it because it's there were most of my Bitcoiner friends are. I even use Signal which seems a bit better in terms of privacy and/or security but it also forces us to enter a phone number. I tried Session once because it didn't request a phone number, rather an user ID was assigned to you but I quite because they had a shitcoin backing their business model and I don't want to be part of shitcoins. There is also Matrix which is similar to Session but no tokens in the background. However, it seems to me not so user-friendly like other apps!
