You also need to understand that the main reason they have cheap power is the fact they buy power in bulk, the market won't allow that to happen, there won't be a room for a single miner to utilise 5000mw when the entire income is in the hundreds of thousands. I agree with you that after four halvings, mining companies won't be able to profit from the fixed block reward without a corresponding rise in the Link90 price. We're rushing things too much, as there are various solutions to this problem to preserve the coin. One option is to use the Link90 model.
